There are many types of artificial diamonds, and their applications are also quite extensive. Let's first analyze the appearance of diamond saw blades.

According to their appearance, diamond saw blades can be divided into circular saw blades, row saw blades, band saw blades, rope saws, and wire saws.

1. Circular saw blade

The circular saw blade is also the most commonly used cutting tool, with a diameter span ranging from 5mm to 2800mm and a thickness ranging from 0.1mm to 15mm. It has a wide range of applications, multiple manufacturing methods, and high difficulty. There are three main types of circular saw blades:

2. Saw blade arrangement

The saw blade is installed on a reciprocating sawing machine for cutting waste materials. Due to the reciprocating motion of the saw blade, it is not conducive to the control of diamond particles by the matrix. Therefore, it is more difficult to manufacture than circular saw blades and has not been widely used in the domestic market recently. However, compared with the widely used steel sand saws and single piece circular saw blades with a diameter of 1600mm, it has the advantages of high efficiency and low labor intensity.

3. Band saw

The main difference between diamond band saws and row saws is that their substrate is a flexible steel strip, which requires diamond to be welded and bonded firmly, and to be able to rotate and bend like a belt. A band saw is a device that welds the two ends of a band saw together to form a band saw ring. A saw machine can only hold one band saw. This type of band saw is only used for cutting special materials such as graphite wire. Band saws are generally very thin (thickness between 1.0-2.0mm) and very long (about 5-8m), and are often manufactured using electroplating methods.

4. Rope saw

Rope saw, abbreviated as rope saw, is composed of many diamond core saw segments (also known as bead chains) strung together on a steel wire rope. Rope saws are mainly used in stone mining, as well as for breaking large stones. The method is to first drill holes in the mining area, thread the rope saw into the hole, connect both ends firmly, and place them on the wheel driven by the power machine. The wheel drives the rope saw to operate, and one side of the rock is cut in sequence.

5. Wire saw

A wire saw is a simple hand sawing tool made by coating diamond powder on steel wire. Mainly used for cutting jade and stone handicrafts.
